| Details | In this organized purpose lecture, the MOs will learn to visit a surgical patient in the pre-operative period with a particular touch to the correct surgical indication. They will learn how to discuss with the Consultant Surgeon the type of surgery, risks and benefits, and contraindication due to medical clinical co-morbidity. The MOs will discuss all issues with the family and achieve the consent to surgery. They will make their own any anesthesiological concern. Moreover, they will monitor breathing and ventilation, and receive training in manual ventilation in the Theatre. |
