| Details | The INSPIRE Net work is housed at the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC) in Nairobi. Recently the network secured a three-year grant (2024 - 2026) from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to demonstrate the value of HDSS in informing population health in Africa. This grant will be implemented in collaboration with selected HDSS partners and will comprise several activities such as:
Offering small research grants to explore sustainable approaches to maintaining demographic surveillance operations.
Promoting artificial intelligence (AI) through tools such as large language models (LLMs), to strengthen HDSS operations.
the launch workshop is meant to update the member organisations about the Grant and the details of the Project. |
