| Details | Between April and June 2025, the Elgon LMNS conducted a series of CPD sessions focused on maternal and newborn health. In April, topics included maternal death reviews from Bukwo GH and Kibuku HC IV, management of hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy by the NCU team at Mbale RRH, diagnostic challenges in ectopic pregnancy, and community awareness on PET. May sessions addressed the diagnosis, management, and prevention of preeclampsia including contributions from Tororo GH as well as the use of human donor milk in preterm care. In June, learning continued through maternal death reviews by Muyembe and Budadiri HC IVs, alongside a session on birth asphyxia prevention led by Mbale RRH. |
