DetailsThe group meets weekly to discuss targeted interventions for the leading causes of maternal and perinatal mortality and to share best practices in implementing Maternal Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR). These meetings provide technical input on emerging processes and issues in safe motherhood and periodically offer insights into quality improvement interventions such as MPDSR, Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (EmONC), and Postnatal Care (PNC). During one session, the group focused on reviewing updates on actions proposed during the review of maternal deaths reported at lower-level health units, including Bobi HC III's and Padibe HC IV. This meeting was held on Thursday, 16th January 2025, at 7:30 a.m.
