About this activity

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, resulting from external mechanical forces that disrupt normal brain function. Its impact ranges from mild concussions to severe, life-threatening brain damage, often leaving long-term cognitive, physical, and emotional impairments. Effective management requires timely recognition, rapid stabilization, thorough assessment, and evidence-based interventions to prevent secondary injury and improve outcomes. This Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on “Management of Traumatic Brain Injury” aims to update participants on current best practices in acute care, monitoring, rehabilitation, and multidisciplinary management to enhance patient recovery and reduce complications.
