About this activity
Hepatitis B is a major global public health concern, causing significant liver-related morbidity and mortality. It is a viral infection that affects the liver and can lead to chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, or hepatocellular carcinoma if not properly managed. Early diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and preventive strategies such as vaccination are vital in controlling its spread and complications. This Continuing Medical Education (CME) session on “Management of Hepatitis B” aims to update participants on current guidelines for screening, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up to improve patient outcomes and reduce the disease burden.
