This session describes the treatment of a patient presenting with anaphylaxis while under anaesthesia, including immediate management, secondary management and follow-up investigation By the end of this session you will be able to: • Recognize the presentation of an anaphylactic reaction • Take appropriate action to manage an anaphylactic reaction • Be aware of follow-up investigations and referral for specialist advice where appropriate
