This session describes how to carry out and check a range of dosage calculations and highlights some of the important risks associated with dosage calculation. Objectives By the end of this session you will be able to: Define a variety of common dosage units Accurately carry out a range of dosage calculations Estimate renal function in adults and children Describe the serious risks associated with dosage calculation and the ways in which the risks can be minimised
