Management of the patient with anaphylaxis

This session describes the treatment of a patient presenting with anaphylaxis while under anaesthesia, including immediate management, secondary management and follow-up investigation. Objectives By the end of this session you will be able to: Recognize the presentation of an anaphylactic reaction Take appropriate action to manage an anaphylactic reaction Be aware of follow-up investigations and referral for specialist advice where appropriate
