National Maternal and Perinatal Death Surveillance and Response (MPDSR) Meeting

Convenes weekly to discuss the targeted interventions for the leading causes of maternal and perinatal mortality and share best practices in implementing MPDSR. The meeting provides technical input towards “emerging” processes and issues in safe motherhood and, on a periodical basis, provides insights into the quality improvement interventions like Maternal Perinatal Death surveillance and response (MPDSR), along with comprehensive emergency obstetric-newborn care (EmONC) and Postnatal care (PC). THIS SESSION PROVIDED INSIGHTS INTO THE LATEST STRATEGIES, OUTCOMES, AND CHALLENGES OF THE WORLD BREASTFEEDING CAMPAIGN, HIGHLIGHTING THE IMPORTANCE OF BREASTFEEDING IN CHILD HEALTH AND DEVELOPMENT.
