Family Planning Integrated Outreaches

About this activity

Integrated family planning outreach is the provision of health services by trained service providers outside health facilities. This course will help participants under how to plan for taking health care services to communities to reach people who may not normally have easy access to or are less likely to attend facility services. Objectives After taking this course, participants will be able to: Identify and appreciate different models of this approach and determine which is most appropriate for their context Follow the steps to ensure effective implementation of the approach Anticipate common challenges in implementation and plan for how to overcome them
