Ending Maternal Death Due to Excessive Bleeding After Childbirth” emphasizes the urgent need to tackle postpartum hemorrhage (PPH), a leading cause of maternal deaths in Uganda, particularly in the Busoga region. The initiative calls for joint efforts from health workers, policymakers, and communities to improve emergency care, ensure access to life-saving interventions, and strengthen health systems. It also promotes awareness, male involvement, and community education to support safer deliveries. Through collective action and investment, the goal is to ensure no mother in Busoga dies while giving life.
